Watercolour on watercolour paper, framed under glass
15 x 11
During the dreary grey days of winter on the West coast of Canada, the appearance of these colourful pine grosbeaks lends a bright blush of colour. This is a typical view from our livingroom window and was the inspiration for this painting of the grosbeak adorning an evergreen branch. This was the subject of a virtual Christmas card.
