This painting is of best buddies enjoying a daily swim after work. Sadly, this is but a memory, a ripple in time, as the beloved four legged partner passed on far before her time. To preserve the memory of happier times, a caring friend commissioned this painting for her heart-broken friend. It was indeed a challenge for me as I did not know either of the subjects and let the story of their relationship guide my paintbrush. Trusting the caring energy guiding my brush was apparently successful as the gift was met with tears of appreciation.
